Following her studies in 2010 in Edinburgh, Aislinn moved to London and initially gained experience in acute rotational hospital posts, and discovered a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation.

Farah had almost 20 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist with the NHS before moving into the private sector. Specialising within the field of Neurology, Farah has extensive experience working with adults that have suffered a stroke, traumatic brain injury (including prolonged disorders of consciousness) or spinal Injury.

Farah has worked in a variety of rehabilitation settings, from mental health and outpatient hand therapy to trauma-orthopaedics and general medicine, as well as working in acute and stroke rehabilitation on one of the first of eight hyper acute stroke units in the UK. Farah led a research project involving the development of a strategy- based inpatient cognitive rehabilitation group within the stroke unit, and worked with adults who had sustained traumatic brain injuries, such as persistent disorders of consciousness (PDOC) and severe cognitive and communication difficulties.

Farah now works in a highly regarded spinal unit in London, assessing and treating patients with a variety of spinal cord injuries, which involved wheelchair skills, independence with ADLS, upper limb therapy, vocational rehabilitation, and close MDT working to maintain engagement and achieve optimum function.

Farah has completed comprehensive assessments, treatment plans and reports and worked with case managers, solicitors, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best outcome for complex clients.
