Following her studies in 2010 in Edinburgh, Aislinn moved to London and initially gained experience in acute rotational hospital posts, and discovered a keen interest in neurological rehabilitation.

A neurological injury or illness can be life changing, and Aislinn truly values being able to help people during this acute period and their recovery afterwards. A client-centred and holistic approach are occupational therapy values that are essential to her practice.

Her experience and knowledge is broad, with a special interest in stroke, ABI/TBI, GBS, disability management with long term neurological disorders and prolonged disorders of consciousness.

Aislinn is also experienced in working with significant cognitive and behavioural needs and complex risk assessments, as she previously worked within a specialist behavioural brain injury unit.

Aislinn also works with individuals with spinal cord injury, as well as complex posture and seating assessments. Her extensive upper limb experience includes functional electrical stimulation, Saebo and splinting. She can assist with equipment prescription and home adaptations to promote independent and safe community living.
